Zusammenfassung

E-Mail-Forensik ist ein Spezialgebiet der Kommunikationsforensik, in dem zur Aufklärung von Straftaten ermittelt wird, wer mit wem, wann, von welchem Ort aus, über welche Inhalte E-Mails ausgetauscht hat. Das Gebiet gewinnt in der modernen Praxis des Strafrechts zunehmend an Bedeutung, zuletzt in den Terroristenprozessen vor dem Oberlandesgericht in Koblenz.
