Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Artikel ist ein Erfahrungsbericht über den Einsatz von Therapiepuppen auf der Bühne Altersheim. Als Puppen spielende Psychodramatikerin und Schauspielerin arbeite ich mit Bewohnerinnen im Einzel- und im Gruppensetting und leite Puppenspiel-Fortbildungen für MitarbeiterInnen. Jeder Puppenauftritt ist spontan improvisiert und von der Motivation getragen, Menschen in tieferen Kontakt zu sich selbst und zu anderen zu bringen. Das kindliche Wesen der Puppencharaktere setze ich ein, um Lebendigkeit, Kreativität und Spontaneität anzuregen in einem Bereich unserer Gesellschaft, in dem der Alltag vornehmlich von geistigem und körperlichem Verfall geprägt ist.

Abstract

In this article I share my experiences as a puppeteering actress and practitioner of psychodrama. I act on “stage” nursing home for the elderly where I work with the people who live in the homes in individual as well as group settings. I also offer puppeteering trainings for the homes staff. All my interactions with puppets are spontaneously improvised and motivated by the intention to deepen peoples contact with themselves and each other. I use the childlike qualities of the puppet characters to invite aliveness, creativity and spontaneity into a part of our society which is mainly characterized by mental and physical disintegration.
