Neosporidesmium appendiculatus sp. nov. from North–Western India

Abstract

Neosporidesmium appendiculatus sp. nov. is described and illustrated from the specimens collected on the dead twigs of Ficus religiosa in northern India. It differs from the other described species of Neosporidesmium in characteristic appendaged conidia. A synoptic morphological analysis of all species of Neosporidesmium is also provided.
