Abstract
This paper describes one new species of smut fungi from Gansu Province, Northwestern China, Anthracoidea maquensis on the host plant Kobresia maquensis, an endemic Chinese species, it was compared with the five known species on the host plant section elyna of Kobresia and the differences of each species were given in the key.
