Abstract

Based on two Swiss collections, the structure of mature pseudosclerotia of Stropharia luteonitens (Basidiomycota, Hymenomycetes) is described for the first time. The difference between sclerotia and pseudosclerotia is discussed, and the uncertainty about the presence of such organs in Stropharia luteonitens is resolved.
