  2. Note that I have heard of people selling for a profit items earned from playing Everquest. I have also heard of tournament for video game players to win prizes. A number of years ago a web site held a contest for the best custom scenario for the computer game Age of Empire II. Consequently, actual gain may in some cases be possible.
