Additional information

Prof. Suojiang Zhang is an Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and Director General of the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), CAS. He received his Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University in 1994. His research interests mainly focus on ionic liquids and green processes, including molecular design, large-scale preparation, and clean processes of ionic liquids. Until now, he has published 306 SCI papers in academic journals, has written or edited six monographs, and has authorized more than 70 patents. He won the Second Class Prize of the National Natural Science Award of China in 2010.

Prof. Buxing Han received his Ph.D. degree at Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1988, and did postdoctoral research from 1989 to 1991 at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He has been a professor at the Institute of Chemistry, CAS since 1993. He is an Academician of CAS, and was the former Chairman of Subcommittee on Green Chemistry International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. His research interests include properties of green solvent systems and applications of green solvents in green chemistry, especially conversion of CO2 and biomass into value-added chemicals.

Prof. Jianji Wang received his Ph.D. degree at Yokohama National University (Japan). He also worked as a research fellow at University College London (1987-1989) and University of Surrey (1992-1993). He became a professor of physical Chemistry at Henan Normal University in 1994. His current research interests focus on structure–property relationship of ionic liquids and their applications in green separation and biomass processing. He has authored around 300 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, and serves on the editorial board of Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics.
