The original publication of the article has been published incorrectly with few typo errors, i.e., role(s) should read as hole(s). The correct text is given below:

In p. 986, second paragraph should read, “For example, Chris Andersen (1997) described how Basarwa (Bushman) collected water while living in the Kalahari Desert. They are the oldest inhabitants of southern Africa and are characterized as nomadic hunters and gatherers. In their wandering, they make several sets composed by holes in the sand, covered with a transparent membrane (usually urinary bladder) with several stones near the board (to avoid being flown away by the wind) and a unique small stone at the center of the membrane (to create a depression). Inside the hole, just below the unique centered stone, they put a collector, usually an ostrich egg half, surrounded by grasses. During the day, the sunlight’s energy passes from the membrane and promotes evaporation of water stored in grass tissue and the sand. Then, the now humid air under the skin condenses at the membrane surface when temperature decreases at night, and water falls in drops just inside the collector at the center of the hole, providing not more than a quarter of glass of water. The curious Basarwa artifact is based on a solid knowledge of natural processes with a profound link with their traditional lifestyle that can be understood by Western modern science (Fig. 1)”.
