Zusammenfassung

Bei älteren Patienten mit anhaltenden, unspezifischen Magen-Darm-Beschwerden sollte auch an das seltene Bouveret-Syndrom gedacht werden. Diese Komplikation einer symptomatischen Cholezystolithiasis wird in der Regel primär chirurgisch behandelt; unter bestimmten Konstellationen kann jedoch – wie in dem hier besprochenen Fall – ein konservatives Vorgehen gerechtfertigt sein.

Abstract

For elderly patients with persistent non-specific gastro-intestinal complaints, the rare Bouveret’s syndrome should also be considered. This complication of a symptomatic cholecystolithiasis is as a rule primarily treated surgically. However, under certain circumstances a conservative approach can be justified, as in the case described here.
