Zusammenfassung

Die Lebenszeitprävalenz von Schulterschmerzen beträgt 70%. 50% der Betroffenen leiden über einen Zeitraum von über einem Jahr an Schulterschmerzen. In der täglichen (Hausarzt-) Praxis finden sich am häufigsten atraumatische Schulterschmerzen in Zusammenhang mit der Rotatorenmanschette (Rotatorenmanschettenruptur und/oder Impingementsyndrom), der Omarthrose, Tendinosis calcarea und der sogenannten frozen shoulder. Eine sorgfältige Anamnese und körperliche Untersuchung erlaubt häufig bereits eine erste Verdachtsdiagnose, die durch entsprechende bildgebende Verfahren bestätigt werden kann (Röntgen der Schulter in drei Ebenen, Ultraschall, MRT und ggf. CT Untersuchung). Nach Ausschöpfen konservativer Therapiemaßnahmen (z.B. Krankengymnastik, physikalische Therapie, analgetisch-antiphlogistischer Therapie, Infiltrationsbehandlungen, TENS-Gerät, Stoßwellentherapie, …) besteht bei entsprechendem Leidensdruck die Indikation zu stadiengerechten operativen Maßnahmen.
