Wer nach einem Unfall wiederbelebt werden muss, hat nur äußerst geringe Chancen zu überleben. In jedem zweiten Fall bleiben neurologische Schäden zurück. Dennoch sollte der Arzt keine Mühen scheuen und die Reanimation zumindest versuchen. Zwei große Expertengremien zeigen, worauf es dabei ankommt.
