Offenbar wird bei Alzheimerpatienten nicht mehr genug Beta-Amyloid aus dem Gehirn gespült. So ist bei ihnen der Austausch mit dem Liquor gestört. Dies könnte zur Progression der Alzheimerdemenz beitragen, legen neue Date nahe.
