Abstract

With the rapid development of computing technology and network technology, the way of information transmission has gradually changed, and humanity has entered the information age in all aspects. In the information society, many colleges and universities continue to use traditional management methods in the process of carrying out the sport games, while such methods are of lower management efficiency, and can not spread information in real time. Therefore, this paper designs and develops a platform for the management system of sports meeting for regular institutions of higher learning based on B/S architecture through visual basic language and Flash software with Access as the background database. The system can store executive information, athlete information and athletes’ competition results in a more secure and effective way, and achieve more efficient and safer information management. At the same time, it adopts wireless network, and can realize real-time broadcast of athletes’ performance, real-time sports information query and modification.
