Abstract
The solubility of carbon dioxide in a mixture of organic solvents was measured at atmospheric pressure in the temperature range of 10–25°C. The solubility of carbon dioxide in the mixture of organic solvents was obtained by using experimental data. In addition, the adjustable parameters of the local composition based models such as the Wilson, the NRTL, and the NRTL-NRF were determined by fitting the experimental data and the results of these models. The results show that the Wilson and the NRTL-NRF models used for the estimation of the CO2 solubility in the mixture of organic solvents used in this work attained relatively better results than the other models.
