The article considers the methods for calculating the slab foundation of a reconstructed building reinforced with soil-cement piles taking into account the stress-strain state of the base before the piles are introduced. Numerical studies have been carried out; it has been established that the load transferred to the reinforcement soil-cement pile decreases, and the normal stresses on the side surface of the pile increase with an increase in the load share perceived by the foundation slab before reinforcement. Methods for determining the loads transferred to piles and additional soil resistance on the side surface of piles and calculating their bearing capacity have been developed.
