Calculation of Building Settlement on Flood-Prone Foundations by Using the Modulus-Free Method

On the basis of the modulus-free calculation method, a package of methods was developed to predict the development of building settlements in the process of foundation flooding before and after its construction, determine the required thickness of the unwetted carrier layer of the base, determine the optimal depth of dewatering, and adjust the values of the compression modulus of deformation to proceed to the stamp modulus.
