Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Aims and scope

Methods of determining the safety factor of slope stability are examined. The method of varying strength characteristics, which in combination with elasto-plastic analysis in accordance with the finite-element method, defines the form of failure and safety factor for stability of a stabilized embankment significantly more precisely, and isolates the forces in the elements of the stabilizing structure (anti-creep structures).
