Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Aims and scope

Characteristics of interaction between heaving soils beneath the bottom of a tank and in the backfill of the recesses and the structural components of an underground structure are examined. An algorithm is cited for calculation of frost-heaving forces of the soil on an underground structure.
