Feasibility of pile-shell foundations with prestressed soil beds

Interaction between a large-scale model of a combined pile-shell foundation with a clayey soil bed is examined under field conditions. The influence exerted on the change in the stress-strain state of the soil bed by prestressing of the soil after pressing of the under-shell space and an increase in external load is described
