Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Aims and scope

Various alternate schemes for the stabilization of a creep-prone mass are examined on the basis of a reconnaissance survey of a slide-prone section of the shoreline zone of a canal, modern control geologic-engineering surveys, and analysis of background materials related to results of analytical investigations of slope stability, and a set of measures for slide stabilization is presented.
