Abstract
The nature and mechanisms of the compaction and breakdown of soils subject to vibroactions are discussed. Estimates are given for the effect of the phase composition of soils, and the amplitude and frequency of the action for a broad range of moisture content, dispersivity, and various forms of technogenic processes.
