Jute/epoxy/nanosilica (JES) composites have been fabricated with varying amounts (0–4 and 5%) of nanosilica in an epoxy matrix. It is observed from the test that the addition of the nanosilica filler up to 3% to the composite improves the thermal, mechanical, and free vibration behavior of the JES composites, while adding more nanosilica shows the adverse effect. Small amounts of nanosilica in composite materials improve matrix-fiber interface bonding, while more causes local clustering. Adding nanosilica to the composite material also improves thermal stability and delays disintegration by 10–140°C. In continuation, the addition of nanosilica fills the pores of the composite and reduces the damping factor of the JES composite.
