Convective Amplification of Aeroacoustic Signal in Main Gas Pipeline at Different Propagation Distance

The paper experimentally demonstrates the increase in the convective amplification of an aeroacoustic signal in the main gas pipeline at different propagation distance starting from the signal initiation to its recording. Aeroacoustic signals are recorded and processed after simulated leakage and mechanical impacts on the pipe wall. Experiments are conducted on the real main pipeline and assisted by the leak detection system.
