Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

A mathematical model of the dynamics of a magneto-susceptible fullerene is presented. Using this model, a high-precision algorithm for calculating the rotations of a molecular solid is constructed. The effect of a short magnetic field pulse on the state of a fullerene modification, containing an iron atom, is studied. It is shown that a single pulse and a sequence of pulses give rise to the energy containment on the rotational degrees of freedom of the fullerene molecule.
