Properties of the Lorentz Force in the Earth’s Natural Magnetic Field

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

The properties of the Lorentz force in the Earth’s natural electromagnetic field are considered. Theorems on the existence of toroidal non-force magnetic fields modulating the Lorentz force have been formulated and proved. The sources of these fields are indicated, and the initial equations of geophysical electrodynamics are written taking into account the force and non-force electromagnetic fields on Earth.
