Microstructure Evolution of W–Cu Pseudo Alloy Surface After High-Temperature Gas Processing

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

The paper presents the results of optical metallography, scanning and transmission electron microscopies with X-ray microanalysis of the microstructure evolution of W–18 wt.% Cu pseudo alloy. The microstructure evolution induced by high-temperature gas processing, is associated with the copper atom diffusion along the inner grain and sub-grain boundaries from the copper particles positioned on these boundaries and the surface layers of the pseudo alloy.
