Within the limits of the Ginzburg–Landau phenomenological theory, the key parameters responsible for the structural phase transition (PT) in small particles are determined. It is shown that the displacement of the PT temperature of the particle with size l is proportional to l–2 or l–1, and the change in the functional dependence is controlled by the parameter l* having the dimension of length that depends only on the particle shape and material constants.
