The effect of the parameters of a registration system, detuning of the Bragg angle, and special features of the structure of the direct and inclined holographic reflection phase gratings formed in a liquid crystal composite on the spectral characteristics is investigated theoretically and experimentally. A comparative analysis of the calculated and experimental data is carried out. The spectral characteristics of the reflection holograms are modeled in the framework of coupled wave theory.
