Features of the Formation of an Erosion Plume Under the Action of Laser Radiation on the Surface of FE–SI Alloy

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

The principal features of the evolution of the erosion plume formed at the surface of Fe–Si alloy exposed to laser radiation have been revealed. It has been shown that the oscillations of the plume luminescence intensity are related to boiling of the surface.
