Reflection of plane waves from an impedance boundary in a non-reciprocal bi-isotropic tellegen medium

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

The coefficients of reflection and transformation of monochromatic electromagnetic plane waves from an impedance screen bounding a half-space filled with a non-reciprocal bi-isotropic Tellegen medium are determined. Cases of circularly and linearly polarized obliquely incident plane waves are considered. The critical incident angle is found, at which the energy flux of an incident Beltrami wave divides into two equal parts.
