The propagation of light rays in a spherically symmetric galactic gravitational field generated by dark matter as well as by the baryonic component is investigated. Primary attention is given to the case where the contributions of both these components to gravitational lensing are comparable. It is shown that the positions of the object images depend on the profiles of the baryonic and dark matter. Moreover, it is emphasized that the distances of the lensed object images to the gravitational lens are substantially smaller (by four orders of magnitude) than the distance from the observer to the gravitational lens.
