Symmetry of the Hall, Gauss, Ettingshausen, Nernst, Nernst-Ettingshausen, Righi-Leduc, and Maggi-Righi-Leduc galvano-and thermomagnetic effects is investigated. A comparison with the Magnus hydrodynamic effect is carried out. The common features of the effects are described, including their symmetry, tensor character of the coupling coefficients, and common reason for their occurrence, namely, superposition of an axial vector quantity on a polar vector quantity. It is established that the circulation phenomenon characterizing the velocity of charge (energy) carriers and particles of a liquid (gas) flow in the Magnus effect is peculiar to all effects. In this regard, the potential difference (thermal, electric, or velocity one) is formed. As a result, two mutually perpendicular vectors give rise to the third (polar) vector arising in the system.
