Abstract
The problems of classical cosmology are studied within the GRT and the Logunov theory. It is shown that the inflation scenarios and other theories based on the GRT do not solve the problem of flatness whereas the problem does not arise in the Logunov theory. The problem of horizon is absent both in the GRT and the Logunov theory for any instant of time and any regime of evolution. It is also shown that a two-component medium can imitate quintessence.
