Mechanism of the Mechanochemical Synthesis of Mixed-Ligand Terbium(III) Quinolinates

Abstract

Mechanochemical synthesis of terbium quinolinates with nitrogen-containing neutral ligands involves several stages; no self-propagation reaction is observed. The resulting terbium(II) quinolinate exhibits paramagnetic properties.
