Abstract

A novel method of high-performance flash chromatography was proposed. The method allows one to separate mixtures of substances ranging from hundreds of milligrams to several grams with close chromatographic mobility (up to ΔRf 0.05). An enhanced efficiency of chromatographic columns is achieved by using fine-grained silica gel (5–40 µm), special packing of the column, and a procedure of supporting the mixture to be separated onto the adsorbent layer, which ensures the formation of a narrow zone of the substances on the adsorbent layer at the beginning of elution.
