Structure and properties of fibroin filaments during their processing in water—salt solutions of calcium chloride

Abstract

The results of studying the modification of fibroin threads in water—salt solutions of calcium chloride are presented. A complex of methods, including optical and electron microscopy, as well as physical and mechanical tests, was used to characterize the threads.
