Abstract

The ability of copper(I) chloride to catalyze the ring-opening isomerization of alkyl-, phenyl-, vinyl-, and cyclopropyl-substituted gem-chlorofluorocyclopropanes to chlorofluoroalkenes or chlorofluoroalkadienes was found.
