On the nature of intermediates in the reactions of carbanions of diethyl arylmalonates with isocyanates

Abstract

A reaction of ethyl phenyl- and 4-nitrophenylmalonate carbanions with para-tolylsulfonyl isocyanate leads to stable addition products, the corresponding substituted para-tolylsulfonylacylamides.
