New Carbon Aerogels Fabricated from Polymeric Materials and Their Properties

Abstract

Electron microscopy and adsorption-structural, X-ray phase, and thermal analyses were used to determine the density, porosity, microstructure, electrical conductivity, and reactivity of new carbon aerogels based on phenol-formaldehyde polymers.
