Abstract

Formation of surface oxides in the course of cathodic and anodic polarization of fibrous carbon materials in a 0.25 M sulfuric acid solution and their influence on the cation- and anion-exchange properties of fibrous carbon materials, steady-state electrode potential in a 0.1 M sodium sulfate solution, and electrodeposition of copper from a sulfuric acid solution were studied.
