Abstract

The activity coefficients of phenol in a number of hydrocarbons were determined from experimental data on phenol distribution between aqueous and hydrocarbon liquid phases, using data on the limiting activity coefficients of phenol in water. Ten systems containing saturated and aromatic hydrocarbons were examined in the temperature range 283–328 K.
