Abstract
The selectivity of sorption of cerium-group rare-earth elements on acid- and base-treated fibrous complexing PAN-FOSPAN ampholyte from aqueous solutions containing acetate and butyrate anions was studied as influenced by pH. The possibility of separating Nd3+ from Eu3+ by eluent chromatography on PAN-FOSPAN was studied. The conditions for concentrating the sum of rare-earth elements on the resin were found.
