Systematic Analysis of the Stress-Strain State of the Surface Layer of Ground Si3N4–TiC-Ceramics

  • Published:
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Aims and scope

We systematize the results of force, thermal, and combined analyses of the stress-strain state of the surface layer of ground Si3N4–TiC-ceramics. The relationships obtained as a result of competent ordering of the data of numerical experiments are recommended for the creation of innovative tools made of silicon-nitride ceramics with regard for the changes in the structure of the surface layers in the course of their production and adaptation to their destruction under the action of operating loads.
