Directed synthesis of multilayer structures in ceramic and refractory technology

  • Published:
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Aims and scope

Abstract

The concept of studying and developing multilayer structures in technology of ceramics and refractories using high-energy pulse loading is described. The formation of polyphase and multilayer structures is considered as the problem of inseparable direct and feedback relations inside the following binary system: 1) composition-technology-structure-property; 2) service regimes-product design-material. The main criteria of self-organization of polyphase and multilayer structures based on heterophase composites are established in the context of science and technology of ceramic materials.
