Enhanced photocatalytic activity of thin TiO2 films dotted with ZnS nanoparticles

Abstract

Thin TiO2 films, dotted with ZnS nanoparticles synthesized by the hot-matrix method, result in appreciably better photocatalytic destruction of organic pollutants in water and air than the non-dotted films.
