Summary

Aromatization of light paraffins with Zn-containing catalysts based on the ZSM-5 zeolite is considered. The correlation between acidic and hydro-dehydrogenating functions of the catalysts, on one hand, and their activity and selectivity towards aromatics, on the other hand, is discussed. The modification of external acid sites is shown to influence significantly the catalytic properties of the prepared samples.
