We consider the maximum-likelihood algorithm for detecting a rapidly fluctuating sequence of ultra-wideband quasi radio signals with an arbitrarily shaped modulating function and unknown amplitude and initial phase, in the case where such a sequence is observed against the background of the Gaussian white noise. The structure and the statistical characteristics of this algorithm are found and its statistical simulation is performed.
