A Method for Estimating the Time Delays During the Signal Propagation from the Satellite Communication Systems with the Code-Division Access

We propose a method for estimating mutual time delays during the signal propagation from several radiation sources of a satellite communication system with the code division access to be used when solving the problem of locating the signal sources. To eliminate ambiguity in determining the delays, which is observed in the presence of several sources in the system, we propose an algorithm which is based on the sequential elimination of the determined delays from the signals and the subsequent correlation processing.
