Abstract
We study analytically and numerically volume and surface longitudinal waves in a dense weakly magnetized inhomogeneous plasma. First, the well-known results for volume and surface waves in homogeneous and semi-bounded magnetoplasmas are presented for reference. Problems with similar geometry are then studied for plasmas with nonuniform density distributions close to those observed in experiments.
