Vera Husfeldt (Germany)
Professorat the University of Applied Sciences in Northwestern Switzerland, since 2006. Her main research interests are in the fields of school research, school evaluation and assessment. She has been involved in several national German studies as well as in the IEA Civic Education Study. After finishing her Ph.D. in 2000 she was the Associate International Research Coordinator of the IEA Civic Education Study at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. From 2002 to February 2006 she was assistant professor at the University of Goettingen, Germany were she has been coordinator of different research projects like e.g. a study on intercultural competencies and attitudes of students in bilingual (German–Italian) schools.
